Rain gardens for Rivers

By improving storm water managment in towns and villages along the River Kennet we can keep the Kennet cleaner.
We have been working with RHS Gold Medal winning garden designer Wendy Allen to create rain gardens in the Kennet Catchment.

We are helping people to create rain gardens because they:
  • Reduce water pollution
  • Prevent flooding
  • Make for beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes
  • Improve air quality
  • Increase biodiversity and wildlife

These images are from raingardens we have created at Preshute and Ramsbury Primary Schools. We will be creating two more in Autumn 2018, funded by the Thames Rivers Trust.  Our Big Give Christmas Challenge 2018 is fundraising to create two more in 2019.
