Helping Young People Achieve

People of all ages help us deliver our projects; and this of course includes teenagers. This can be through getting in touch to become a volunteer, however we can also help those young people who have signed up to achieve their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Our practical volunteering tasks run throughout the year, through school holiday periods and often at weekends.

Tasks run for whole of half days and provide the ideal opportunity for teens to learn a variety of new skills, build on existing ones and learn more about the environment and conservation. Whilst volunteering with us you will find out about chalk streams and ARK, as well as volunteering alongside a welcoming group of people of different ages and backgrounds.
Volunteering with us is fun and worthwhile, it is also a great addition to a CV or a UCAS application.

No previous experience is required, if you are interested in volunteering email anna@riverkennet.org
