Kennet Rainscapes Project to build rain gardens in schools
By improving storm water managment in towns and villages along the River Kennet we can keep the Kennet cleaner.
We have been working with RHS Gold Medal winning garden designer Wendy Allen to create rain gardens in the Kennet Catchment.
We are helping people to create rain gardens because they:
-
Reduce water pollution
-
Prevent flooding
-
Make for beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes
-
Improve air quality
-
Increase biodiversity and wildlife
To find out more about rain gardens at home take a look at our rain gardens page.
