Bat Walk & Talk
Date: 18 Sep 2015
Location: Stonebridge Meadow
Organiser: Anna Forbes
Description:

A fantastic bat night was held at Stonebridge on the 18th of September.  James Shipman from the Bat Conservation Trust returned to lead a very interesting walk and talk to the 23 people who came along.  Everyone got superb views of Pipistrelle and Daubenton's bats huting around the standing dead trees by Poulton Footbridge and also above the river.  The highlight of the night was the male Daubenton caught in in the mist net, providing an amazing opportunity for the public to see a bat up close and confirm how BRILLIANT bats are.

Here are some images of the evening.
