'Drowning' of Water Meadows

10 am - meet at Rose Cottage (near to the Old Mill pub), Town Path, Salisbury, SP2 8EU.
The talk and demonstration will take about two hours and will concern the traditional operation of historic water meadows and their roles in agriculture, flood protection and conservation.
Wear wellies or suitable waterproof footwear and warm clothing.
Families are more than welcome, but please keep children under close supervision. Sorry no dogs, as this is farmland.
There is no charge but a collection in support of the work of The Harnham Water Meadows Trust will be taken at the end.
