Love your River this Spring
You can save water and help the river too by having a water-saving makeover in your home.
Thames Water and Action for the River Kennet (ARK) are working together to help people to use water wisely and protect their local river. Care for the Kennet directly links local water use with impact on the local river.
We are offering Kennet residents a free water saving home makeover worth £150 that could save you up to £85 a year on your water and energy bills. The makeovers take around half and hour and will provide householders with free devices from shower timers to dual-flush loo adapters. The Installers will provide detailed information on which devices best suit your home and fit them free of charge.
From February 2013 trained installers from Climate Energy are coming door to door in a different Kennet village each week. They will be starting Chilton Foliat, and then moving onto other villages including Ramsbury and Aldbourne. Future projects are planned in Lockeridge, Avebury and East and West Kennet.
