WORKSHOPS
This workshop is a Rain Planter Practical Workshop. You will learn why rain planters and sustainable drainage are important, how to select and install a water butt and how to adapt an existing planter into a rain water planter.

We offer two workshops focussing on the practicalities of DIY retrofitting domestic rain gardens and rain planters, starting where the rain runs off an existing roof and ending when it soaks into the ground. Workshops are suitable for everyone and can be attended in either order. Our aim is to inspire and empower individuals and groups to create rain gardens in their own green space. Each session is a mix of practical activity and presentations and by the end of the workshop you will have sufficient knowledge to build one yourself.

Tools, materials and refreshements are provided, but please bring work gloves and a snack lunch.
