Location: Wexcombe Farm, Marlborough, SN8 3SQ
Organiser: ARK Catchment Sensitive Farmiing
Description:

Join us at George Hosier's  Wexcombe Manor Farm just outside Marlborough on Tuesday 12 February 2019. The Hosier family have been running a no-till farming system incorporating cover crops and crop rotation changes since 2014. Through the Catchment Sensitive Farming initiative ARK has been measuring the impact of cover crops each year. Tim Clarke will present the latest data on their performance and we'll walk the farm to see the trial plots.

Dr Stephen Moss will give a peresntation about blackgrass control and the importance of cover crops. After more than 40 years studying the weed, Stephen is a world expert and has some tried and tested strategies to offer, so it will be a very useful morning.

Padfields Porkies will serve a delicious lunch to warm everyone up!
