Water Matters
In the Kennet Valley and south Swindon, the domestic water supply comes from the aquifers which feed the River Kennet.  By using less water more water is left in the river Kennet for wildlife and people to enjoy.

We run a series of award winning, free projects for schools to help students to learn about the river. The projects are funded by Thames Water to inspire the next generation to have a good understanding of river environments and habitats so that we can all learn to protect them. Our flagship projects are Trout in School, Eels in School, A River in my classroom and River School.

In 2018 we celebrated our 10th year of Trout in School.
