Invasive species


The Kennet Catchment has become home to a number of non-native invasive species, which disrupt the ecology. They include Americal Signal Crayfish, American Mink, New Zealand Pigmy Weed, Fairy Fern and Floating Pennywort. The video here shows efforts being made to erradicate floating pennywort from the Foudry Brook in Reading, Berkshire.
